Oh-My-Gut Study: link between stress and the microbiome

Researchers at Wageningen Food & Biobased Research are studying the link between diet, stress, and gut bacteria. More and more studies show that what you eat can influence how you feel—both physically and mentally. The composition of your gut bacteria also seems to play a role.

About the Oh-My-Gut study

In the Oh-My-Gut study, researchers are investigating whether a dietary supplement affects stress and the composition of gut bacteria. For six weeks, participants take a daily supplement, collect saliva, blood drops, and stool samples at specific times, complete questionnaires, and visit Wageningen twice for measurements.

At the end of the study, participants receive personal insights (based on our microbiome test) into their own gut bacteria and the possible effect of the supplement.

Curious how supplements might influence your microbiome?

And all while you’re also contributing to scientific research?(!)
